Lustre is a handcrafted ceramic work, formed, bent, and sculpted entirely by hand without the use of molds. Lustre is made through hand-coiling clay layer after layer. Each layer is then hand-smeared into the layer below it; these gestural finger marks are subtly present in the texture of the sculpture, creating a sense of movement. Its metallic glaze and hand-built detail make it a simple yet stunning centerpiece. Lustre is finished with hand-applied metallic glaze.
