Serpentine
Serpentine is a handcrafted ceramic work, formed, bent, and sculpted entirely by hand without the use of molds. The form opens with sharp, rippling edges that jut and fold with a sense of tension, giving the piece a charged, almost eruptive movement. The hand-applied metallic glaze amplifies this energy, catching and distorting light across the surface so the form shifts as it’s viewed. Serpentine functions as both a functional vessel and a standalone sculpture, balancing containment with expansion.
